Object in Mirror is a series of photographs inspired by the Belgian, surrealist painter René Margritte’s stone paintings: Les idees claires (1958), Le Chateau de Pyrenees (1959) and Le monde invisibl (1954). The photo collection thematizes stones and rocks outside their original context, instead staged and positioned as frozen sculptures or living, self-thinking creatures in action – a play with illusions through the art of photography.
