Typha is an aquatic or semi-aquatic genus with several different species, which is widespread in all temperate regions of the globe, also in Denmark. Growing up with Løvenborg’s moat as a neighbor, I daily encountered these plants with multiple special properties. Typha is able to remove arsenic from drinking water, many of its parts are edible to us and the Heads are used by some birds for lining their nest.

The minimalistic Typha plant crafted in oak consists of 3 parts that can be easily assembled and disassembled through a plug system. Capturing the transient joy of plants in the home and make it permanent in beautiful oak wood. A beautiful addition in a bouquet of living, as well as dried flowers, but they also stand strong alone.
